Click image to download a demo MedTrack enables you to maintain blood pressure, blood sugar, and appointment logs for you and/or your family members. Keep track of insurance ID numbers, medications, allergies and notes for you and/or your family. Keep a list of physicians and their phone numbers handy.

Installing:

Hotsync the Medtk Installer.prc file to your PDA.

You will see an icon called InstMedtk in the PDABruce category.

Select this icon to install and launch MedTrack. Several files will be extracted from the archive and the archive will delete itself.

MedTrack will automatically run once the installer has completed.

When you exit the program you will see the MedTrack program icon.

Prior to installing

After installing

When you start MedTrack for the first time a Copyright screen appears. Once you register (purchase) the product this screen will no longer show.

To see how many days remain for your 14-day trial period select Trial Info from the Help menu of the Add/Edit screen. After the 14-day trial you will no longer be able to use the program. If you purchase before (or after) the 14-days expire you will be able to just hotsync the registered version over the evaluation copy and all of your data will be saved.

Trial Info

The first screen that appears (registered version) is the Main Menu screen. From here you make your selection of the funtion you wish to perform. Main Menu

The Edit BP screen is for input of your blood pressure readings.

Tap the New button and fill out the screen.

Select Name from the drop down list. (Must be previously set up - see below)

The Date field defaults to the current date. Tapping in the date field will allow you to select a date from the Palm calendar.

The Time field defaults to the current time. Tapping in the date field will allow you to select the time from the Palm time dialog.

For the Sys field, enter your systolic blood pressure reading. You can tap the Sys label to pop up a numeric editor.

For the Dias field, enter your diastolic blood pressure reading. You can tap the Dias label to pop up a numeric editor.

For the Pulse field, enter your heart rate at the time of the reading. You can tap the Pulse label to pop up a numeric editor.

For the Notes field, enter any notes you deem appropriate. You can tap the Notes label to pop up a full screen editor.

Use:

  • < - to view the previous record
  • New - to create a new record
  • > - to view the next record
  • Del - to delete the current record
  • Log - to display Blood Pressure log
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu

From the Options menu of this screen you can select to purge the database (see below).

You can export all blood pressure entries to the Memo Pad application in comma-delimited format. Once you hotsync your handheld the comma-delimited data will be available in your Palm Desktop to copy and save for use with Excel or anything else you choose.

Menu View

The BP Log screen will display all the blood pressure entries you have entered.

Note: Blood pressure entries are sorted into this list when created. If you change one it is possible that it will no longer be in sorted order. If that happens, either delete the entry and add it again or re-sort the database.

Select a name from the drop down to view only reading for that person.

Selecting one of the blood pressure entries in the list will bring up the details for that entry.

Displayed at the bottom of the screen are the high, low and average values for systolic and diastolic entries being displayed.

To change the alternating row color select Set Row Color from the Options menu of this screen. The color choice you select will remain until you change it again or reinstall MedTrack.

Use:

  • Add/Edit - to return to the Edit BP screen
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu
BP Log

The Edit BS screen is for input of your blood sugar readings.

Tap the New button and fill out the screen.

BS Log

The Edit Dr screen is for input of your doctors.

Tap the New button and fill out the screen.

Enter the Name and Address information for this doctor.

Enter the office Phone number and an Emergency phone number.

For the Notes field, enter any notes you deem appropriate. You can tap the Notes label to pop up a full screen editor.

Use:

  • < - to view the previous record
  • New - to create a new record
  • > - to view the next record
  • Del - to delete the current record
  • Log - to display Doctors log
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu

Edit Dr

The Dr Log screen will display all the doctors you have entered.

Selecting one of the doctors in the list will bring up the details for that entry.

  • Add/Edit - to return to the Edit Dr screen
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu
Dr Log

The Edit Patient screen is for input of your medical and/or your family member's medical information.

Tap the New button and fill out the screen.

Enter the Name of the person to track. (This will be used in the drop down list boxes on other screens)

For the Ins ID field enter the insurance identification number for this person.

For the Medications field, enter any medications this person is taking. You can tap the Medications label to pop up a full screen editor. When there is more information to display than will fit on the screen a scroll bar will appear so that you may view them.

For the Allergies field, enter any allergies this person has. You can tap the Allergies label to pop up a full screen editor. When there is more information to display than will fit on the screen a scroll bar will appear so that you may view them.

For the Notes field, enter any notes you deem appropriate. You can tap the Notes label to pop up a full screen editor.

Use:

  • < - to view the previous record
  • New - to create a new record
  • > - to view the next record
  • Del - to delete the current record
  • Log - to display Patient log
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu

Edit Patient

Edit Medications

The Patient Log screen will display all the names you have entered.

Note: The patient entries are sorted into this list when created. If you change one it is possible that it will no longer be in sorted order. If that happens, either delete the entry and add it again or re-sort the database.

Selecting one of the names in the list will bring up the details for that entry.

  • Add/Edit - to return to the Edit Patient screen
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu
Patient Log

The Edit Appointment screen is for input of your doctor appointments.

Tap the New button and fill out the screen.

Select Name from the drop down list. (Must be previously set up - see above)

The Date field defaults to the current date. Tapping in the date field will allow you to select a date from the Palm calendar.

The Time field defaults to the current time. Tapping in the date field will allow you to select the time from the Palm time dialog.

Select Doctor from the drop down list. (Must be previously set up - see above)

For the Reason field, enter any notes you deem appropriate. You can tap the Reason label to pop up a full screen editor.

Use:

  • Send to Datebook - to send this event to the Date Book
  • To Datebook w/Alarm - to send this event to the Date Book and have an alarm sound 1 day prior to the appointment
  • < - to view the previous record
  • New - to create a new record
  • > - to view the next record
  • Del - to delete the current record
  • Log - to display Appointment log
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu

From the Options menu of this screen you can select to purge the database (see below).

You can export all appointment entries to the Memo Pad application in comma-delimited format. Once you hotsync your handheld the comma-delimited data will be available in your Palm Desktop to copy and save for use with Excel or anything else you choose.

Edit Appointment

The Appt Log screen will display all the appointments you have entered.

Note: Appointment entries are sorted into this list when created. If you change one it is possible that it will no longer be in sorted order. If that happens, either delete the entry and add it again or re-sort the database.

Select a name from the drop down to view only reading for that person.

Selecting one of the appointment entries in the list will bring up the details for that entry.

To change the alternating row color select Set Row Color from the Options menu of this screen. The color choice you select will remain until you change it again or reinstall MedTrack.

Use:

  • Add/Edit - to return to the Edit BP screen
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu
Appointment Log

The Purge screen allows you to delete from your log files.

Select the Date to delete all prior entries from the standard date pop-up.

WARNING: All entries prior to the date entered will be removed from each database selected. This cannot be undone!

Use:

  • Delete Blood Pressure Entries - to delete entries from the blood pressure database.
  • Delete Blood Sugar Entries - to delete entries from the blood sugar database.
  • Delete Appointment Entries - to delete entries from the appointment database.
  • Menu - to return to the Main Menu
