TVTime is a TV program scheduling application for Palm OS.
This application is designed to allow you to input a TV schedule for your favorite programs. You can optionally set reminders and add notes for each program entered. You can view a listing of all programs entered or limit the view to a particular day of the week.
Input is simple and straightforward. Enter your favorites, set a reminder so you never miss a single episode.
Version History:
Version 3.0 adds the following new features: Palm OS 5 compatible. Reminders (alarms) are now stored in the Date book application. Set a single reminder. Set daily reminders. Set weekly reminders.
Version 2.0 adds the following new features: Scroll bar added to Notes field, ability to delete database for new season, ability to re-sort database and new color themes to choose.
Installing: Hotsync the TVTime Installer.prc file to your PDA. You will see an icon called InstTVtm in the PDABruce category. Select this icon to install and launch TVTime. Several files will be extracted from the archive and the archive will delete itself. TVTime will automatically run once the installer has completed. When you start TVTime for the first time a 30-Day Trial screen appears. Once you register the product this screen will no longer show. | |
The first screen that appears is the View All screen. Select Add/Edit from the menu or the Add button to add/edit enter your favorite programs. Once you have some programs entered they will display on this screen. Select a program in the list to edit/delete the entry. Select S-M-T-W-T-F-S to view those particular days programming (Sunday through Saturday). You can also select the day from the menu. | View All Screen

The Add/Edit screen is where you enter your TV program information. Enter the Title of the program. Enter the Channel the program appears on. Select a weekday from the popup. Enter the start time for the program using the standard Palm OS time dialog. Optionally add a note to the record. Optionally set a reminder (alarm) so you never miss your favorite program. Select the Set an Alarm button. Use: - New - to create a new program entry

- Del - to delete the current program
- All - to display all program
- Set an Alarm - to create reminders (alarms) in the Palm Date book
From the Options menu of this screen you can select to delete the database of all programs. This would be useful for starting a season. The database can be re-sorted by select Sort DB from the Options menu. | Add/Edit Screen

The Schedule Alarm screen allows you to create a reminder (alarm) in the Palm OS Date book application. The data necessary to create the alarm is already filled in for you. Select the Date from the standard Palm OS pop-up. This date will be the starting date if you are setting up daily or weekly alarms or the date for a single alarm. Tap the Single button to create a one time alarm. Tap the Daily button to create an alarm for every day at the same time starting with the date you selected. Tap the Weekly button to create an alarm that will repeat on the same day of the week at the same time starting with the date selected.If you want to edit/delete the alarms you must do so in the Date book application. Tap the Back button to return to the show details screen. NOTE: When the alarms are created in the Date book they will be for 60 minutes (1-hour) and the alarm will be set to go off 10 minutes ahead of the program time. | Schedule Alarms

The Day of Week View screen displays the TV programs entered for that particular day only. Select All to view all programming. Select Add/Edit from the menu to add new programs or edit programs currently being stored. Select an item in the list to view/edit/delete that program. Select S-M-T-W-T-F-S to view those particular days programming (Sunday through Saturday). You can also select the day from the menu. | Daily View
